Biography

Dr. Navin Kumar, PhD                                               

Dr. Navin Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biotechnology at Gautam Budhha University, Greater Noida, India. He obtained his graduation (Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry) and post-graduation degree (Biotechnology) in 2003 from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, India. He received his Ph.D. (2012) under the supervision of Prof. Gauranga Mukhopadhyay and Prof. Rakesh K. Tyagi from Special Centre for Molecular Medicine at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Since 2012-2016, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Prof. Jaya S. Tyagi in the Department of Biotechnology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He is working on host-pathogen interaction and Cag-type IV secretion system of Helicobacter pylori and published several papers in international refereed journals and in conferences at national and international platforms.
