About: Dr. Nagendra Singh is a distinguished researcher and academician in Biotechnology, specializing in Molecular Structural Biology, X-ray Crystallography, and Drug Design. He is an Assistant Professor at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, with 25 years of research experience and 15 years of teaching. He earned his Ph.D. in Structural Biology from AIIMS, New Delhi (2000-2004) and was awarded the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award. His research focuses on human splicing factors in cancer, RNA metabolism enzymes, and structure-based drug design. He has published 80+ research papers, accumulating 1600 citations, with an H-index of 25 and an i10-index of 40. Dr. Singh has led 7 major extramural research projects funded by DST, CSIR, ICMR, and DBT and supervised 6 Ph.D. and 35 Master's students. He has received numerous awards, including the Venus International Foundation Young Scientist Award and the NASI Young Scientist Platinum Jubilee Award. He has organized 03 national workshops and 01 International conference, presented at papers in various international conferences, and held key administrative roles, including HOD of Biotechnology (2021-2024) and Chairperson of GBU Sports Council.
