Dr. Vivek Gupta is presently working as Faculty on Contract at the Department of Applied Chemistry, School of Vocational Studies and Applied Sciences, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida India. He has obtained Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemistry, IIT Kanpur. He has qualified CSIR-U.G.C. NET (2007 & 2008) in Chemical Sciences and GATE (2007 & AIR-190) in the subject chemistry. His field of specialization is Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry. His research interests are N-heterocyclic carbenes, amidines and phosphate based metal complexes and its application in catalysis. He did his postdoctoral research work as a National post-doctoral fellow from TIFR Hyderabad, India. He has attended several national and international conferences and workshops. He has published more than 10 research papers in international and national journals of repute. He is a member of Royal Society of Chemistry.
