Dr. Gulfisha belongs to a small town named Shikohabad under the district of Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Since September 2020 She has been working as a faculty member (contractual) in the Department of Psychology and Mental Health, Gautam Budhha University, Greater Noida, India. She is also bearing the responsibility of academic coordinator in the Department of Psychology and Mental Health. She is supervising graduate and postgraduate students in writing thesis and dissertation.
Dr. Gulfisha has earned her Masters degree followed by PhD. in Psychology from Aligarh Muslim University (A.M.U.), India; and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, formally known as Agra University. Her PhD. thesis is based on the topic "Well-being among Widows in Relation to Religiosity, Resilience, Social Support and Certain Demographic Variables" under the supervision of Prof. Mahmood S. Khan. She has also qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in Psychology in 2013, 014, and 017. She has various research publications in reputed Peer-Reviewed International Journals. She has developed a first ever psychological scale on stalking “Stalking Experience Scale” .
