Dr. Vinita Sharma, has done her Ph.D. in Food science and Technology from Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana (India). She currently works as Faculty on Contract in Food processing and Technology Department, School Of Vocational Studies & Applied Sciences, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida. She has 1.5 years of teaching experience in different subjects of Food science and Technology at graduation, post graduation and Ph.D. level. She has supervised more than 12 M.Sc. students in their major dissertation projects. Her research interest include starch modification, characterization, modification of new product and formulation of edible films and coatings. She has published more than 06 research papers in international journals. She presented her research in various national and international conferences. She is active member of Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (AFSTI), Mysore, India.
