Biography

         Since recall, mathematics supplemented with sport has always been on top of  the priorities.

Dr. Fahed Zulfeqarr, an assistant professor in Department of Applied Mathematics has been working in School of Vocational Studies & Applied Sciences of Gautam Buddha University (GBU) for about 11 years.  He has been a member of Sport Council of the university.

Before joining GBU, He had worked in Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani for more than 3 years as an assistant professor in Department of Mathematics and taught various mathematics courses to B.Tech and M.Sc. students. During his tenure, he guided some students for M.Sc dissertation projects.

Regarding his eduaction: Dr. Fahed Zulfeqarr, born in Sambhal (UP), has got his Highschool and Intermediate degrees from Hind Inter College, Sambhal. He then moved to Aligarh and obtained his B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. in mathematics from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh in 2000 and 2002 respectively. For his research he joined IIT Bombay and completed his Ph.D in 2009 in the field of Commutative Algebra with thesis entitled as Ratliff-Rush Filtration and Dual Hilbert Samuel Polynomials under the supervision of Prof. Tony Joseph Puthenpurakal.
