Biography

 Dr. Vimlesh Kumar Ray is currently faculty in Electronics and Communication Department, School of ICT, Gautam Buddha University.  He has mentored more than 55 M.Tech Dissertation in the field of ad-hoc wireless networks, Wireless sensor networks, cognitive radio technology, intelligent transportation system etc. He has published many research papers in National/ International conferences and Journals. He has guided several projects based on IoT, smart home automation, energy conservation in the networks. He has explored various research and consultants in the area of intelligent transportation system, energy harvesting in ad-hoc / wireless sensor networks, cognitive radio networks, IoT in networks, quality of services (QoS), traffic engineering in wireless networks. He has keen interest in innovation and industrial development projects. He has delivered several invited talks in various FDP/ Workshops.

He has been awarded by Bokaro Steel plant Bokaro for the innovation project. He is national winner of National Children Science Congress. He has been awarded by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (Former President of India) and also by Late Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee (Former Prime Minister of India) for the innovation project. He has successfully presented the project in Indian Science Congress at Anna University Chennai. He has been also awarded for innovation projects by Bihar Association Chennai and Science for Society Bihar.
