Considering one of the Public Sector Units (PSU), BSNL, J & K Circle as case example, the work aimed at studying the major factors of service quality and assessing the customer's perceived quality of three services (fixed-line, broadband and mobile). A systematic hybrid multi-criteria decision making method that combines the analytical hierarchical process technique and fuzzy synthetic evaluation has been used to examine the service quality framework and evaluate the quality level of the three services used by the PSU customers.
(2) Reliability estimation of repairable systems using fuzzy modeling approach
In the face of traditional modeling approaches, an important class of repairable systems has been considered for study and analysis. The study is aimed at estimating the fuzzy reliability and availability of repairable systems wherein the system performance is degradable. For modeling and dealing with uncertainties in gracefully degradable computing systems, a fuzzy modeling approach is used for prediction of reliability.
