Major and Minor Project executed by the students of various programs of Biotechnology: Till date more than 35 students have been guided on the various topic covered as:

Ø  A proteomic approach to analyzing salt responsiveness in egg plant (Solanum melongena,L) under in vitro conditions

Ø  Comparative genetic diversity analysis in mustard varieties using electrophoretic protein profiles and randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD)

Ø  Assessment of genetic variations of some brassica varieties germplasm using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers and electrophoretic characterization through SDS-PAGE.

Ø  Culture free detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA01 by PCR assay in different food samples.

Ø  Comparative analysis of two varieties of Brassica oleracea in salt stress.

Ø  Effect of different types of cytokinins on Bryophyllum pinnatum micropropagation and study of antimicrobial activity under in vivo and in vitro conditions.

Ø  Study the biological effect of gamma radiations on in vitro seed germination and callus growth of Brassica juncea and their comparative genetic diversity analysis using RAPD.

Ø   Effect of different cytokinins on morphological, physiological and pharmacological parameters under in vitro conditions.

Ø  Biotechnological approaches for crop weed management and herbicide resistance: a Review

Ø  Role of biotechnology in plants to develop tolerance against salinity stress: a Review

Ø  The chemistry behind antioxidant capacity and role of some natural antioxidant resources in human health against some diseases.

Ø  Study of protein quantification and its tolerance for different interfering reagent using the available methods with regards to SDS-PAGE and 2DE.

Ø  Probiotics: Health benefits and an alternative strategy for prevention and treatment of human diseases.

Ø  Enhancement of folate in plants through metabolic engineering.

Ø  Role of AOX genes in plants under abiotic and biotic stress

Ø  Receptor like kinase tackling abiotic and biotic stresses in plants. (Published)
